Haven't done a lot of hiking, but man I have an ever-growing need to be surrounded by nature - no concrete, no advertisement billboards, no cell phone towers - off the grid as it were.

Snorkeling - never done it. Fascinated by sea life, but I'm a Capricorn, I like my feet on solid ground.

I don't own a digital camera, and that was one I sent from a cell phone to my email address recently. Don't have a lot of pics of myself.

The one I keep posting here is really old (well a few years) but Lioness put it on her photobucket and then sent me the link to my inbox here. So it's just easy to copy and paste that link into the photo threads on DU.

I have a few pics of me up on MySpace and Facebook but I am too lazy to link them to a thread on DU. I just use the old one, over and over and over...

What are you drinking?

I am sober this evening. I haven't had a drink since Saturday, which is a good stretch for me. I work second shift and I like to unwind by going to this little bar that is close to work. I don't have a lot, since closing time comes quick by the time I get out of work, but I do go almost every night that I work.

I can't even imagine the differences between your state and mine. New England votes almost always as a blue block, and my state, well, we have some great people here on the coast, but the SC usually goes red with the rest of the region. I'm still smiling about NC last election.

I'd love to travel to CT.

Did you live there from birth?

For a long time I hated living here. Yeah, we got some stereotypes and some of that is deserved. But the town I live in, Summerville, just outside of Charleston, is just beautiful. I like it more and more, my home, but I must leave. I'm drawn toward the north. Can't explain it.
