Guess what?

I won Final Four tickets if my team makes the Final Four. I'm stoked, because if KU makes it, I will be at the Final Four TWO years in a row! Plus, the tickets are courtside. Hell yeah! The only downside is that it is a 12 hour drive, and none of my friends won tickets, so I'm probably going to have to drive by myself, convince my dad to go (but we wouldn't be sitting together), or find a carpool on facebook or something. Plus, I will need to find a place to stay. Blah.. but the tickets were only $20!!! It's too good of a deal not to do it.

1. Sometimes a trip comes together at the last minute.

I had to travel up here to Seattle (before I moved here) on an emergency last-minute basis. I asked DU people if they had a place I could crash. No response until almost right before I left. A friend here on DU was renting a houseboat and was going to be out of town that weekend and allowed me to stay there.

So, maybe you'll get fortunate in a similar way.
