Daniel Craig is a very good actor. I had no idea that anyone who plays James Bond was more than a lightweight.

great British crime drama, with Craig as the lead, and many other excellent actors.

5. Timothy Dalton is/was also an excellent actor

He was one of the great Shakespearean actors in England in the 70s. He was asked to play Bond several different times (the first in 1968) but kept refusing as they weren't serious enough. He finally relented in the 80s. Regardless, he was a great heavyweight of an actor pre-Bond and post-Bond.
