I know, I know, as a liberal Democrat I'm not supposed to work, I'm supposed to jump the line ahead of others to suck at the teat of over-taxed Republican American-family-values producers, so I can spend more time stoned on the couch, aborting babies, or devising new ways to hate the very system off the teat of which I am a suckling parasitical nonpatriot.

But, sometimes, probably a mental illness, I find myself working.

Or maybe I'm just not really committed to the liberal/Democratic agenda.

Don't you listen to Rush Limbaugh? He says that people who have been laid off would rather live off unemployment than look for a new job! And so! There's nothing more enticing than living off of $250 a week and trying to maintain a mortgage and afford food!
