So, a bobcat walks into a bar,
Bobcat Walks Into Ariz. Bar, Attacks Patrons

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=7179531

A bobcat has attacked three people in the central Arizona
community of Cottonwood, including two men who were bitten
by the animal after it wandered inside a bar.

Officers called to the Chapparal Bar arrived to find the
bobcat in the parking lot, where they shot and killed it.

Tests were ordered to determine if the animal was rabid.
It wasn't clear how seriously the victims had been wounded.

4. Honest, honey, those scratched are from a bobcat, not some floozy.

9. I guess I should leave the humor to the professionals.
I was imagining a husband explaining to his long-suffering wife
that those scratches were NOT from one of his frequent fooling around.

:(

14. **rimshot** "be sure to tip your bartenders"
I was in Vegas this weekend with 32 other women who were pushing 50.

Two of them didn't know what cougars were. The other 30 tried really hard not to BE cougars.....

Yikes.

8. I used to see bobcats a lot when I lived in Tucson.
Had 'em in my backyard. Didn't mess with 'em.
I'd go in the house when they were around. Cute cats though.

25. Oh, ok. Beautiful cats, both the mountain lion and
bobcats. I'm partial to mountain lions, because we don't have those here (or at least not enough to get to see one in the wild).

Mountain lions are elusive.

29. Today's Tucson Citizen has a story about rabies in Pima County.
http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/daily/frontpage/113024.php

In a froth over rabies

{Pima County is No. 1 in infestations. What should you do? Carry kibble}

Pima County is leading the pack in an extremely exciting category.

Rabies.

So far this year, we're the No. 1 place in the entire state to be
infested with this dread disease.

Who says nothing fun ever happens in and around Tucson?

From Jan. 1 through March 21, a total of 59 animals have tested positive
for rabies across Arizona, 21 of those in Pima County. Comparatively,
Cochise and Coconino counties have amassed a paltry 13 cases each.

Last year's statewide rabies cases broke all records with 176,
beating out the previous record of 169 set in 2005.
