What mistake in life are you thankful for?
Getting my heart broken by the wrong girl early in my youth... It smoothed things out a lot as time went on.

1. Getting fired from a corporate job
It literally saved my life. I had a brain tumor but didn't know it and only got it checked out because of something I had to do for the next job I got.

2. Going to a private high school for two years.
I hated it and for years didn't know of anything good that ever came of it, but because I didn't take civics class my freshmen year over there (which was standard in public school) and therefore didn't take civics class until my junior year when I returned to public school, as a result I got a civics teacher who changed my life who I wouldn't have otherwise gotten.

13 years of marriage, 7 years of pure hell. But I wouldn't want my kids any other way.

10. I got pregnant while on the pill.
Such effective things, those pills. As long as you take them at the exact same time every day.
:P
