A Serious Request (yes, really)

As everyone knows, I'm a local elected official, serving on the Board of Aldermen in Manchester, NH. We;re the local city council. I'm up for re-election this fall, and I anticipate a tough fight.

There are some nasty actors in local politics who want to defeat me. Some are right-wing crackpots, like the guys who made a death threat on an internet message board. They're crazy, but well-funded. There are also the politics-as-usual types who can't come to grips with a pro-reform, pro-environment Democrat cracking their little club.

So, I need your help. If you can spare 5 bucks or ten bucks, it would make a huge difference. It can be tough fighting for change at the local level, but together, we can make it happen.
