because i'd be pissed if i went missing for a few days on a forum and someone went as far as to call friends and family of mine to make sure i was ok. i think that's crossing a fairly large line. :shrug:

He missed a meetup HE ARRANGED without calling anyone or PM'ing anyone. Out of character. Plus people here who know his phone number had called him to see what was up and those calls were also not returned. So I guess worrying about people behaving uncharacteristic behavior is unacceptable..:shrug:

46. Funny - this actually happened to a friend.

He was going through a rough patch and shared his frustrations with some friends on a discussion board. When one of the internet friends was unable to reach him online or on the phone, he assumed the worst and called the police. Police arrived and arrested my friend for an outstanding BS warrant he had forgotten about.
I'm still not sure he's to the point where he can laugh about it.
