3. but in getting rich, the gambling man helps to undermine the corporate overlords
productivity is always down during the first week of the NCAA tournament. It's a bit like an organized work slowdown, except instead of being for something like health care or better working conditions it's about something that's really important ...

15. They can take Syracuse ...

They should take Syracuse. I'm more worried about Sunday if NC makes it through, which I imagine they will.

It will, as usual, depend on Blake and whether he gets backup to help draw some of the pressure off him. Michigan was tough, and he's pretty beaten up, and Michigan was able to exploit that for awhile. They drew him into foul trouble late. If Syracuse, or anyone, can play off that and do it earlier in the game, it reduces his impact and makes him ineffective on defense.

Use it early on Blake, and you're gold.

Otherwise, prepare yourself. :)

34. Your Orange had a great run, though, bigwillq
Tonight they had the misfortune to draw Tony Crocker with a hot hand--and when the Sooners have someone hitting threes to complement BG inside, they're very tough to beat.

Still, though, it's been a great run for Syracuse--a postseason to remember, for sure :toast:

35. I thought it would be closer ...

Your guys had the misfortune of running up against OU on the night they played their best ball since mid-season.

I expected this thing to go down to the wire.

As fishwax said, though, Syracuse had a great run.

39. Golf?

GOLF!?

Okay, I'm not a huge hockey fan, mostly because I was never exposed to it until a few years ago when OKC got a minor league team. (I won season tickets at work and went every chance I got. It's awesome live.)

But GOLF!?

I've never really understood golf on television. Fun to play, not so much to watch.
