I really think the so-called "talent" this year is a big drop off from previous years.

son's class at East Chapel Hill High). Met Anoop's parents who were on the same plane when I went

I'm not sure why you say "country singers need not apply." You remember Carrie Underwood, right. Pretty much every season there's a country singer. There may not be any country contestants this year but that doesn't mean AI doesn't want them. They'll take whoever they think will make them money.

I think Adam is a good singer. Danny is the person AI producers are hoping wins.

I wasn't a Michael fan, but everyone said Megan sucked. At least Paula agreed with me about Lil Rounds. Megan's kind of cute, but I don't let that cloud my judgment. She must have a lot of young fans calling in.

I think they should drop the pretense of country with "country week," especially how things are going.

Sometimes Anoop. One of my faves was voted off, and admittedly she didn't have the best song choices.

If their "campaign" worked, the wonderful Tatiana would still be on the show. Seriously, she was so much better than most of the people on the show. Plus, she was entertaining. Megan won't be around much longer...another 1-2 weeks. Scott hasn't done great so he may go next week. Then it will most likely be Megan, unless she surprises us or someone else screws up.

My prediction is Adam, Danny, and Allison will be the top 3. Lil Rounds may make it to the top 3 but I think she'll come in fourth.

There are others I like quite a bit, but Megan, Danny and the sight impaired guy have got to go. I am enjoying this season far more that I really feel comfortable admitting. I do agree that this year the fellows are better than the girls.
