I don't want to get lost in the intricate plot lines. Maybe I should read the books or the Greek mythology that they're based on?

2. The first one is okay, if a plot is your enemy.
I watched it for the cars, no matter how ridiculously unrealistic the street racing scenes were. I can't sit through the other ones.

I'll probably watch this one on DVD when it comes out, again just for the cars (though I do like Diesel in the series).

5. He was brilliant in "Iron Giant."
I truly believed he was a giant hunk of metal cleverly disguised as an animated robot.

4. Just the cliffnotes.
The bald guy is Vin Diesel. His car is not a diesel.

I think after that you can catch up pretty quick.

6. Yeah, the plot lines are super hard to follow.
When the first one came out, a co-worker and her husband saw it opening night and then "showed up" for a street race that was supposed to go down. Didn't happen---but the whole thing gave me a good laugh.
