2. I really hope it's good.
I read that they had to re-shoot a lot of the movie because in the original screenings people found the kid unlikable. His role was to angry, and they couldn't sympathize with him. He came across as an angry, spoiled brat. They had to re-write the script to change how he is portrayed and re-shoot a bunch of scenes.

From the look of the trailer they are definitely trying to make sure people walk in with a very different first impression.

3. My daughter's school/class dramatized the story (? years ago)
and had a wonderful time doing it!
