I have stepped up my embezzling from Mr. Midlo and it is going
Edited on Fri Mar-27-09 07:44 PM by Midlodemocrat
exceptionally well. Frankly, the guy is a doofus when it comes to groceries, so if I told him that I spent $100 on four gallons of milk, he'd believe me.

Expect to see me driving an amazingly cool car that seats one with a space for my purse very, very soon.

:Rubs hands together in glee:

2. You're going to need to lie about a LOT of milk for a car like that.

:woohoo:

That poor guy. He has no idea the depth of the evil he married.

5. sheets are expensive.
my husband has no clue about how much anything costs, that's the bonus from him being out of the country all the time, he has no ideas "It costs what it costs Hon" damn right Mike, it costs what i tell you it costs.

9. Crap. No kidding. They've gone up considerably since the last
time I bought them.

I couldn't find the 'tee shirt' sheets today and I really like those. Everyone seems to think they are really comfortable. I hope the ones I got today are going to be okay. The thread sheet count has gone through the roof. I remember when you only had to choose between percale and muslin.

6. I do not care. If it's a one seater with a shelf for my purse, I'm buying it.
I don't even care if there is room for the dogs. They can trot along next to said car when it's time to go to the vet.

11. Seriously. I bought a new van in 11/06. I figured it would be my
last one, so I went all out.

Well, don't you know that virtually all of BabyM's friend's moms have gone to the four and five seaters? So, I ask you, who ends up driving both ways all the time? Yeah, that'd be me.

The boy isn't as bad because he has some friends who drive, but he still does this whole 'My mom can drive' thing.

I really don't mind, but with some of these folks, I do think they're taking advantage because their car is too small.

13. Oh, dear God. THAT'S ME!!!!
I truly would prefer to sleep in the van than with Mr.Midlo. He makes noise, he sweats, he moves around. The van? Nada. It's the perfect companion. With Sirius Satellite Radio.

And, honestly. It came in damned handy taking you know who to college. It does hold a ton of stuff.

20. Awwww, I'm sorry.
We thought about buying a minivan for a day, and every time we time we see one, we are so glad we didn't, because we don't need the room. We got a Ford Escape Hybrid, and we love it.

They totally work for some families, but not for us. I hope you get the vehicle you want. My husband had his monthly ENT appt. today (he had oral cancer) and the doc was debating whether he should get the latest 700 benz or wait a few months for the next one. He's a damn good doctor, and I love him, but I'm like yeah we're paying for that car!

23. Jeez, I guess that our 5 seat cars are too small.
I'd rather drive a "small" car anyday, than a minivan. If you don't want to drive, say no.
