Poll question: If you had to live with one or other for the rest of your life: Psychotic or perpetually Neurotic?

1. I am perpetually neurotic

and to my awareness not psychotic, but I am very sensitive to the plight of people who have brain diseases that cause psychosis. I don't think that modern science has come up with really great solutions for many people with those problems. Medications have a lot of serious potential side effects.

2. Psychosis cannot be safely sustained.

3. I have lived with neurotics, and while it is not a pleasure, it is a good deal easier than

associating with psychotics. Psychotics can be brilliant, but I would not choose to live with one. Correspond, yes. Befriend from afar. But not live with.
