3. Thanks
As a (relative) n00b, I had always wondered where the attitude on DU towards Olive Garden came from. Now I don't have to ask!

8. In all this time
I never realized it was Radio Lady who made the suggestion in the first place. After everything that transpired on her posts since then, it kinda makes it even more funny!

Ahh, memories!

:D

9. Thanks! It's good to know what started the Olive Garden flamefest
FWIW,

I went to San Francisco with the family, tried to get to the wharf, could not find a place to park, and ended up eating at McDonald's.

This, after my wife who is from California, raved for years about how wonderful the food was in SF.

It's been 20 years, and we still rib her about that trip...

11. Olive Garden is awesome
Anyone who disagrees is probably a pathetic italian food snob who probably shaves garlic with a razor blade and grows their own tomatoes. Soup, salad, and breadsticks...yum!. Doesn't matter if I go to NYC or Hyannis MA, I know what I'm getting when I go there. Good food at a reasonable price!

12. You think 9 plants is enough?
We're not even going to TRY growing garlic. It would be pissing in the wind.
