Vibes for my semi-significant other.....

He's been having heart palpitations pretty regularly for the past month or so. He wore a Holter monitor for 24 hours, and the cardiologist said that he didn't think they were much cause for concern and could be controlled my meds. The meds, unfortunately, haven't helped at all so they've scheduled him for a nuclear stress on Friday. He's a worrier, so he's making himself freak out over it...

Really, I think he's probably fine. We went on a bike ride yesterday afternoon (fairly brisk) and he said he felt great...

But still... I'd appreciate the vibes for him all the same. At 63, there's always the possibility of the body starting to show a little wear and tear...

On another note....here's another term to consider:

When Mrs. av8rdave and I were dating and starting to seem serious, he mother referred to me as her daughter's "significant maybe."

I always kinda liked that one.

I like significant maybe, but it probably doesn't fit us, either.... Due to circumstance, I don't think we'll ever go much further than where we are now. Which is to say, dating exclusively and spending evenings at each others' places as possible. We'll never live together again, and (even if it were possible) I'd never want to marry or civil unionize with him.

Not to say it's bad- it's just the way it has to be.....

Just talked to him, and he said he's been feeling better today than he has in weeks... Maybe it just took some time for the meds to kick in...
