For the second time, I dreamed I moved to a much Bluer but much colder area.

And both times, I thought, what have I done? Things are Ok now, but what about when it gets cold?

What does it mean?

I believe our dreams tell us a lot and most Americans don't give their dreams due respect.

1. what you've done
is frozen your ass off.

I'm dreaming of moving to a more moderate temperature, bluer area.

The state I live in is theoretically blue or purple. But the village I'm in is red as hell. I'm literally in hell frozen over.

So on November 3, I drove up the coast checking out the rest of the area. I settled on a lovely little seaside village filled with Obama signs...everywhere. And a peace march taking place in the village green. Not a McCane/Failin sign to be had. I thought I'd found my next frozen blue heaven!

And what little village was that, you ask? Belfast, Maine. Yes, THE Belfast, Maine. Home to the rwnutcase who's wife recently shot him while he slept...and who was found to be harboring the nukular ingredients of a dirty bomb!

2. Well, should be safe to live there now. :clown:

The state, and city I live in are red as a baboon's ass.

4. well, at least it's a WARM red baboon's ass
 Believe me, that beats an ice-blue frozen ass. Trust me. It gets freakin cold up here. And the snow is deep. I was afraid I was going to get lost in a drift this year. I have hilly terrain, so sometimes what looks level is really just a series of smoothed out drifts. One wrong step and down you go...
:o :scared:

6. Maine is a wonderful place to visit
ya just don't want to live here, at least for about 6 months out of the year.

Wish I could afford to be a snowbird...

9. Ayup. I was there in mid-summer, but I know I'm a huge wimp about the cold
and wouldn't make it in that climate.

Also, I heard that most Mainers have to have a few different types of work that they do to make ends meet. You know, plow the streets in winter, fish in summer, that sort of thing...

5. Your subconscious is getting ready for some life altering changes

And addressing your fears of too much change too fast simultaneously. You fear being left out in the cold.

Do I get a prize for nailing it?

8. Quit dreaming my life!
Edited on Mon Mar-30-09 01:31 PM by TroglodyteScholar
I just moved from central Georgia to eastern Wisconsin. What have I done??!! :D

I fully plan to enjoy myself here, and it's good timing because I get to skip the Georgia summer and I also have several months before having to deal with my first Wisconsin winter.

If you think the dreams are telling to to take action, you better do it soon!

10. Well, now's not a good time for me to do it. Maybe when I retire.

Maybe I'll start a trend, retiring from warm states to cold states. :-)

Best of luck to you!
