Well, at least I'm trying to...

In June, I'm taking the State Department's infamous Foreign Service Officer exam (for the third time), and this time I *really* want to get into State since competent people are running things again...Have any of you ever passed the test? Do you have any hints, advice or pointers? I'm trying to get a decent full-time job for the first time in my life, and need all the help I can find...

I know there have to be some DUers who are in (or were in some way connected to) state, and I need your help...(You can PM me if needed)

2. My aunt used to work for the State Department

in the 80s - she maybe could give you some pointers, and I know she still has contacts. I may be able to get you in touch with her, but I want to feel her out first (she's really busy right now)...PM me and maybe we can figure something out.
