Stressed Female Mushroom Corals Become Male
This oughta put a few kinks in the fundies' colons.

March 30, 2009 — To switch from male to female and back again without the help of surgery is a feat that only a handful of organisms can accomplish, including some types of fish, shrimp, snails and worms. Now, a new study adds mushroom corals to the list.

It is the first study to show that any coral can change sex in either direction, let alone both.

2. This is an unnatural abonination against the LORD!
The mere fact that god made them able to change sex naturally is no excuse for the unnatural sin of changing sex! We must oppress the corals to prevent god from turning us all into pillars of salt. All we must lie to our children so they don't find out this kind of thing happens.

3. Tell Fred Phelps ASAP
Maybe he and his fellow headcases from Westboro Baptist can swim out there and picket or something.

And maybe the friendly neighborhood sharks will drop by for a bite.

4. Well, not thinking is a good way to relieve stress.
And coral have no hands with which to scratch.

7. Proof that men handle stress better
See, ladies? Next time you've had a rough day, don't just sit around eating ice cream. Go get a sex change operation instead!

Anytime a fundie claims something or another is unnatural they usually don't know what the fuck they are talking about.

12. But wait ... the "religious" angle ...
Edited on Wed Apr-01-09 04:29 PM by JustABozoOnThisBus
Coral reefs are dying all over the world. It is not the use of poisons to catch fish. It is not global warming.

IT IS THE WRATH OF THE LORD COMING DOWN ON THESE TRANS-SEXIAL HEATHEN CORALS!!!!!111!!!

: PTL : (what, no "praise the lord" smilie?)

:hi:
