Of all circumstances in which to blow someone off - a pet adoption?!

We found a home for Angel, we thought. I talked to this woman on the phone and she said she had been waiting to find a declawed cat. Golden. She asked me to send her the vet bill (I am asking half the cost). Terrific. She said she would call on Sunday and we'd set it up. Yay.

No call.

Two emails and a voice mail from me later, still nothing.

I wonder if she was put off by my stressing the fact that he wouldn't warm up to anyone overnight; that trust would take time.

Now that I know there was no emergency, I don't care what her reasons are for blowing me off. I am not going to have Angel be somebody's cat of last resort.

I'll keep looking for a good home for my boy.
