I Watched 'Slumdog Millionaire' Tonight...

It wasn't what I expected at all. Other than the cinematography I think it's pretty over-rated. I'm not going to write an in-depth review of it or throw out any spoilers, but I thought the story was really flawed and (for me) too predictable.

1. Yes, the ending was pure Hollywood, but before that,

(which was only about the last 15 minutes), it kept me interested to see how the hell the two brothers were going to survive their horrible childhoods. It was also kind of a travelogue of India.

2. Very overrated.

Very flawed script. I think the movie was a sell-out. Although it was distributed as an independent movie, the Hollywood types got a hold of it at some point because it was pure Hollywood fluff, especially that awful ending.
