....in a poorly conceived and poorly recieved April Fools post, playing the part of a blowhard I took the false position that purebred dogs don't have souls and they are somehow less than mixed breeds. Outrage ensued, I apologized for the joke (and noted that I grew up with a wonderful purebred golden retreiver who I loved deeply), but bottom line is there are still about 20-30 people on GD who hate me bitterly (as evidenced by my new sig line).
