Did anyone ever have sea monkeys as pets? I'll never forget the ad

I espied in the back of the latest issue of Archie and Jughead magazine, circa 1974: "Train your own sea monkeys!" it claimed...The illustration showed a male and female sea monkey with human-like faces, smiling...I knew I just had to get it someday! A few years later at an indoor amusement park, I was able to finally get my sea monkeys...er...brine shrimp, that is. Ew! They looked skeletal as they darted around my old goldfish bowl, which I finally tossed out the window due to the fishy, awful odor.

1. I did! I loved them. They were so cool. And then my sister forgot to feed them, and they died.
I loved the little book that came with them. They were great.
