What with all the posts about Canada (all of two, I think :P) here's a band from my ex-wife's province of Newfoundland. I think the subject matter is very Lounge-appropriate, too

Not a big fan of their music though.

I heard them first doing Lukey/Lukaloney on the Chieftains Fire in the Kitchen CD good stuff!

I'd love to see them in concert, too! :D

I did get to see The Chieftans, though, many, many years ago. They put on a great show as well :)

7. The great thing about Great Big Sea shows is that they attract a mixed crowd.

There are people of all ages, even children, and everybody is on their feet clapping, singing along and cheering. But at every show, it seems like the guys having the most fun are the guys on stage.
