A guy called up to get a 64-bit compatible version of our software ( it already is ), and went on a whole one-sided discussion about how nothing's working and he's trying and tried all kinds of stuff.
Him: blah blah blah
Me: mmmhmm, yep
Him: blah blah blah
Me: mmmhmm, yep
Him: blah blah blah
Me: OK, what does it say when you try start it
Him: It says "this version not compatible, please contact manufacturer"
Me: OK, step 1
Him: Tried that, didn't work
Me: Step 2
Him: Tried that too, it didn't work either. Nothing on this machine seemed to work right.
Me: Seemed to work? What changed?
Him: I didn't change anything
Me: What's the machine saying when you try run it right now
Him: I can't run it right now
Me: Why not
Him: I already sent the machine back for a 32-bit version
