Can you think of a movie where the sequel was better than the original?

1. Karate Kid II (though the original was good!) and Empire Strikes Back

4. Karate Kid is one of those movies that I've always intended to see but never have.

Everyone always tells me it's great!

Almost everyone thinks Empire Strikes Back was better

11. And "Revenge of the Sith" was much better than Episodes 1&2.

I expected to have a little letdown again, and was pleasantly surprised.

3. Be Cool was better than Get Shorty.

Both EXCELLENT flicks. Love them both. Be Cool is just better, though.

5. Bruce Campell vs The Armies of Darkness was the third in the series, and by far the best

9. Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan

was much better than Star Trek the Motion Picture. And I thought A Shot in the Dark was much funnier than The Pink Panther. (The Peter Sellers versions).

the breakthrough film was the second about Mad Max. A much better movie, and best of the series.

13. Back to the future, friday the 13th, indiana jones, predator and alien

I liked part 2 of them better than part 1.

I had to google to get some ideas on good sequels, but those were all better sequels.
