Play a song you like - sung by an unknown - that you think is cool
The cooler the better. Cool instruments, vocals...

1952 Vincent Black Lightning - Butch Ross (on the dulcimer)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAcna7uLx1o

Said Red Molly to James that's a fine motorbike
A girl could feel special on any such like
Said James to Red Molly, well my hat's off to you
It's a Vincent Black Lightning, 1952
And I've seen you at the cafes and corners it seems
Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme
And he pulled her on behind
And down to Box Hill they did ride

/ A - - - D - / - - - - A - / : / E - D A /
/ E - D A - / Bm - D - / - - - - A - - - /

Said James to Red Molly, here's a ring for your right hand
But I'll tell you in earnest I'm a dangerous man
I've fought with the law since I was seventeen
I robbed many a man to get my Vincent machine
Now I'm 21 years, I might make 22
And I don't mind dying, but for the love of you
And if fate should break my stride
Then I'll give you my Vincent to ride

Come down, come down, called Sergeant McRae
For they've taken young James Adie for armed robbery
Shotgun blast hit his chest, left nothing inside
Oh, come down, Red Molly to his dying bedside
When she came to the hospital, there wasn't much left
He was running out of road, he was running out of breath
But he smiled to see her cry
And said I'll give you my Vincent to ride

Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world
Beats a 52 Vincent and a red headed girl
Now Greeveses (sp x2 ) Nortons and Indians and won't do
They don't have a soul like a Vincent 52
He reached for her hand and he slipped her the keys
He said I've got no further use for these
I see angels on Ariels in leather and chrome
Swooping down from heaven to carry me home
And he gave her one last kiss and died
And he gave her his Vincent to ride

24. The cool thing is, both songs are from the same album ("Hurricane", 2009)
"Williams' Blood" is an autobiographical song -- very interesting stuff and the backing music is to die for too. While not released in the US yet, I had to go to amazon.com and get the import. It's been like forever since I bought any modern made music; most of it is tin can garbage. Grace is a breath of fresh air, with one hell of a voice -- those two songs just show the range she's got. She's INCREDIBLE. (IMHO of course.)

Also look for her song "This Is" -- the link that had existed was pulled. A shame, as the track also sold me on the purchase, but understandable. It wasn't an authorised video. The two I'd linked are. :)

Berro güetto

"The cry of the Gheto"

PS: her name is Guadi Galego

http://www.rootsworld.com/reviews/berro.html

In European folk music, there aren't many bands that know how to mix traditional and modern sounds with perfection, but among this small group there has to be a place for the Galician band Berrogüetto. This band is composed of seven elements: Quico Comesana plays harp and bouzouki; Guillermo Fernandez, several types of guitars; Isaac Palacin, percussion instruments; Santiago Cribeiro, accordion and keyboards, and Anxo Pintos contributes several instruments including sax, flutes, fiddle, pipes and hurdy-gurdy; fiddler Quim Farinha and singer Guadi Galego then joined these five musicians, the founders of the group, for their second album (in which the title roughly translates as a "voyage through Urticaria," a village that is part of a 19th century Utopian myth).
