1. Hi, bif - Cat Power is good

I only have two of her albums, though - You Are Free and The Greatest. I took a liking to The Greatest right away, even if others who like Cat Power had trouble adjusting.

3. I saw Chan live about 10 years ago

Around the time of "Moon Pix" and she was in pretty bad mental shape then; she's a great singer and songwriter but live, she's pretty hit and miss..

4. She was totally spaced out when I saw her

a couple years ago. Could figure out if she was high, shy or just plain bizarre. She babbled incoherently in between songs.

A friend went to see her that same tour in another city and halfway through the set she left the stage and had to be coaxed out of the bathroom by the club manager to finish her set!
