Woman Dies After Swordfight Between Men

INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman died after a swordfight involving two men at a home on Indianapolis' far-northwest side early Thursday morning.

Indianapolis police Sgt. Matt Mount said an older man and younger man were involved in an argument at a home in the 5200 block of Raceway Road at about 1 a.m.

One of the men grabbed a sword during the dispute, prompting the other man to also brandish a sword. The woman stepped between the men and was stabbed. She later died.

All three people were taken to a hospital with injuries.
