Were you there, what was it like? I try to Google it but nothing comes up in a news type format.

1. I found this..
Feb. 4, 1984: This last reported blizzard of note claimed 22 lives in North Dakota and Minnesota and struck mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Four people died near Fargo's Hector International Airport at the 19th Avenue North underpass from carbon monoxide poisoning.

the one and only time they ever let out school for snow- I picked up the boys in my powder blue 1963 Chevy Impala (The Tank) and off we went.

4. You don't say !!
Damn, I think my younger brother was stationed there then. Anyway, there's this new novel that just came out, "Downtown Owl: by Chuck Klosterman and it's mentions the blizzard. By the way, I was telling someone at work about that book "Fatal Voyage", you mentioned about two years ago and how excellent it was because the writer was so on it !! Scarier than any Stephen King novel that's for sure.

6. I remember asshole deep snow in the winter of '87 or '88
I don't remember exactly which year it was, but I was in Grand Forks and it was colder than a well digger's ass. The floods hit there hard that spring also and I was filling sandbags downtown for days on end.
