He was also good in "Lone Star," a lesser-known film which I think is the best ever made about Texas, down to the very last line. He's not the protagonist, but he's a major character seen only in flashbacks.

He's does seem pretty cool. After the arrest, which was incredibly embarrassing for him in a number of ways, teeshirts saying "Bongo Naked" started floating around. Turned out he was the one selling them! Gotta love that kind of outlook on life.

I really thought he'd be a more serious actor, though, given his early displays of talent. Yeah, look who's talking... the bookkeeper! :rofl:

It has Ryan Gosling as the ambitious young DA prosecuting Anthony Hopkins' character, and I swear Gosling is mimicking McConnonodhoghey's performance in "A Time to Kill" right down to that semi-subtle accent. It was really odd...
