Edit: What screws me up is that I watch on my mother's Netflix account. Online. She orders all the fru-fru lovey dovey movies, and I like the crime dramas and psychological thrillers. So I see the most ridiculous suggestions sometimes.

Netflix thinks I'm a Hispanic, Buddhist Lesbian who speaks Mandarin and smokes a lot of pot. That pot thing worries me - who knows where law enforcement has snaked its tendrils, even though Netflix made a bad call? As for the rest, as long as they keep recommending decent movies I don't much care that they've got my nationality and sexual orientation wrong.

When they start rounding up the subversives, I'm gonna be screwed no matter what. My name's been attached to too many petitions. Better start working on my Spanish and Mandarin.

6. I'm still buzzing from band practice earlier tonight.

We're doing a "showcase" next week for some friends, in preparation for some upcoming gigs. We haven't played for a public audience in twelve years, and it's a little nerve-wracking. But the sleeping pills are kicking in, so hopefully I'll be out like a light in a few.

We had a good jam band at the lesbian bar last year. All straight guy's who were very good, professionally and personally.

Unfortunately, the resident narcissist gave the band a name, without consulting them. And put up posters to advertise them. She named them ****'s Bitches. Her name.

Needless to say they were offended. They quit immediately.

If somebody named us ****'s Bitches, we'd probably laugh it off. I could see it getting old after a while, but for one or two shows it would be a laugh.

My main instrument is guitar. I also sing lead and play a few other things as need be (harmonica, keys, sax, mostly on recordings). I'm in a trio, so you're always busy and don't get much breathing room during each song, so you just keep going. PM me if you want a link to our music. :)

17. Oh, it was just a freeper that I used to lock horns with.

I worked in a high profile position with a high end hotel chain. Free hotel stays, and upgrades with VIP privileges because we graded the complaints and it affected the GP bonuses.

This was a gay friendly place. She had a beef with me because I am gay. Religious and all that shit. She abandoned her daughter for being gay.

She snooped into my vacation reservation once, and found out I had reserved a single bed for a hotel reservation with my partner.

She scolded me after that, and always referred to me as "Lil Missy", so as to make it PC at work. I just owned the term so she couldn't use it against me.

14. Yeah. I thought sure, as soon as I realize I have an expired driver' license,

and rush out the next day to get it renewed, there'd be a fucking rain and ice storm. So I could have a fender bender and get arrested.

I got to the DMV safely, by gawd. And the new licenses are pretty. :)
