4. I probably won't have to be dragged.
We started listening to the audiobooks on long drives. Despite the first couple being poorly written, the series has grown on me, and my kids like it. And while I normally don't like Chris Columbus as a director, his over-literal attention to detail may actually help to flesh out the story in this case. So I'm looking forward to it.

5. okay, well I have to admit
I'm looking forward to seeing how excited my younger one will be once I tell him about the movie.
I also LOVE the fact that my sons enjoy reading, and that when they feel the deserve some kind of reward (good grades, etc) they ask for books.
