I'm so tired of people assuming that you only get computer viruses if you go to porn sites or other "bad" sites, as if a computer virus is the equivalent of a venereal disease.
People still seem to believe this.
For the record, I don't go to porn sites nowadays (I used to check them out, when I was younger, but after a while it's a bit pointless and repetitive). My "online" day is basically this, and it seldom deviates:
1. Google News 2. Weather in my state (government weather site) 3. Medical News Today to read the new studies/headlines for that day 4. Bloomberg to read the business news and listen to the radio, or 5. Listen live to news out of Los Angeles or San Francisco 6. or ReachMD, to live stream medical news, or 7. Livestream KGO newstalk 8. Coast to Coast AM, to download and/or listen to the previous night's program 9. CSPAN, to see if there are any interesting congressional or senate hearings 10. Last but not least, spending the evenings at DU if I have the energy. 11. Sirius and XM radio sites, to check out upcoming schedules for favorite programs or channels. 12. Sometimes order from Amazon or my nutritonal supplement company, or a retailer...
Not very thrilling.
And, No, I don't know where or why my computer is out of control due to trojan viruses. But it sure ain't porn.
