Carrot, cheese, hot dog bun, and horseradish casserole
I cannot stop laughing. This is way beyond pathetic and far, far into the comical. This culinary disaster should be preserved for all time and venerated for its awfulness.

I told my PCA this morning (I'm disabled) to make something special in the way of vegetables for Easter dinner. And *that* is what she came up with.

Normally I'd be furious. But what I lack in the way of an edible vegetable, I am gifted in the way of a comedy classic.

Shall I get the recipe from her and post it for any of you?

1. OK, which parts are edible?
The carrots? If you pluck them out, you can at least have something to eat.

Seriously, though, will you eat today? And bless you for your wonderful sense of humor. It IS funny.

You'll talk this over with her, right? Maybe find an old cookbook she might browse?

2. I'm fine... lots of other things to eat, though none so "creative"
Yes, I think this one might rate a discussion of what constitutes "food" and how it differs from a practical joke :)

4.  I should mark you down on the list as "does not want the recipe", then? :)
One crossed off, 139,101 to go :)

5. Now if she cooked a whole carrot, placed it in the bun and topped it with cheese and horseradish..
it would have still been a food disaster.
:D

6. The only things I find appealing in that dish would be the cheese and horseradish

8. You HAVE to get that recipe and post it in the Baking and Cooking section
I mean, how could anyone top that? The only thing that could make it better would be Spam.

10. LOL! I've made some "dump" concoctions but hers really wins
There have been times when I was broke and needed to clear the pantry, refrigerator, and freezer of odds and ends and thrown together that stuff to make a meal, but never quite as haphazard as that "dish"!

And then there was the "dump" party where everyone was asked to bring a can of something and it was all dumped together in one pot. After the cherry pie filling and marshmallow creme were added to the tuna fish "stew" it got strange...

11. Upon first reading your subject line
I immediately checked to make sure it wasn't one of Inchworm's experimental culinary threads.

(No offense, Inchy.)
