1. Loved Tony Bourdain on The Food Network and he shines even more here...

2. He's at his best when he's doing social commentary.
Like with Mexico, Beirut, and Laos episodes.

3. I agree.
When he was on The Food Network, he made NYC fascinating, had an amusing spin on Russia and was the best when in France. He grew up there and his brother joined him for that episode... It's not so much about the food with him, but about his own unusual take on things. :-)
