What are your plans for the day, DU?

I am chilling at the house alone today, in my new found love of solitude. I'm planning to shower, go to the agricultural supply store, pick up some tools and supplies, then pick up some gas, and I will spend the afternoon raking, tilling, etc in the garden. Supposed to be about 52 and sunny today.

1. Mostly gardening.

I spent the last three days doing that but it is even nicer now (about 52 for a high here as well) - no wind. The peas, onions, radishes, lettuce, bok choi, and spinach are all happy. There are dozens of small purple penises in the asparagus bed. The pansies are in, volunteer marigolds are coming up, and the perennial bed is happy. We've got oregano, parsley, rosemary, horehound (just sounds naughty, doesn't it?) and lemon balm in the herb garden I built last month. I had to cover the herbs with mason jars last night (got down into the low 20's) but they did just fine.

Life is good.

2. Too late!

It's 5 PM here, and I have to get stuff ready for work in Sprout City tomorrow (5:52 AM train outta here).

3. Writing an essay.

And assembling ribbons for the Day of Silence.

Possibly going out, if I end up being productive.

(I have a day off school. Yay Canada and statutory holidays!)

4. Not sure

I got a call from the temp agency about a job. I need to get my world in order so I can concentrate on the important stuff like income. x(

I would love to put in a garden here but can't spend the money to start one from scratch. It's not like I don't have the room though... The house is on 4 acres.

I'll be washing clothes, washing dishes, putting stuff away and updating my old computer so I can get a couple tax returns done.

5. I will be doing yardwork plus I will be getting ready to go away

to house and puppy sit for my sister in New Hampshire while her family goes to the Dominican Republic for a week. My brother-in-law has some sort of business convention to attend there , of all places. I want to get yard stuff done before i go so i don't have to come back to it.
