I've been divorced for almost four years now, and although they've been a tough four years, I would not trade my divorce for anything.

With a little distance and time, you realize that there's a very good reason you got divorced-- and you come to appreciate being away from this person, too.

In fact, the best part of my divorce is that I haven't seen or talked to my ex-wife in 3 1/2 years. I don't miss her at all right now, and am glad to be free of her backstabbing, passive-aggressive, emotionally abusive, alcoholic ways.
