Suggestions please: shampoo for oily hair
I finally found one that worked great.....Aussie, but I'm allergic it to it.......itchy and rash......went away when I stopped using it......does anyone else have any advice for hair that is not dry, but rather too oily?

1. I used to use Phiso-derm on my babies' heads when they had cradle cap.
Note Phiso-DERM, not Phiso-HEX.

2. Pantene.
My girlfriend suffers with the oily hair dilemma. It's the only kind she'll use now. Make sure it's the shampoo that doesn't have the conditioner built in.

6. Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo
It works. And it's much less expensive than other stuff.

8. Prell shampoo still exists....
I have a very oily scalp..hence, oily roots soon follow..
..I found Prell Original on-line and it holds back the excess
oily a lot longer than anything I've ever used.
Doesn't seem to damage my hair, either...

15. A couple ideas
Go to a health food store or co-op. Look for Nature's Gate brand, or alternatively, Dr Bronner's soap can be used as a shampoo.

Hope that helps. I use Nature's Gate Tea Tree, which is for dry scalp, so I assume they have one that'll work for you as well. You can look them up online, I think.

16. Pert.
They make one for oily hair (which I have) and it also handles dandruff (which I also have - go figure). AND it is CHEAP!
