There is a brand of jeans called Seven. I found them at TJ Maxx (hit or miss, this time was a hit) in the petite section. Perfect fit on the inseam! Paid $30 for them, and retail starts around $100.

34. I guess I'm wearing mom jeans, too. I wore low rise jeans when I was

in my 20's and 30's, but I just don't feel comfortable in them now, in my 60's. I need some new jeans in the worst way, but I just hate shopping for them. The sizes don't run true from one brand to another and with so many selections in rise, leg style, etc. you have to try on so many of them to find the right fit.

I'm trying to think of how to write this w/o sounding rude, but am not sure how. Since that ship has sailed and some people will think it no matter what, I'll say it anyway. Suffice it to say a woman who has self confidence is sexy, and a woman who likes herself enough to wear something that makes her look attractive, even if she knows other women might look down on her is pretty hot. A muffin top on a woman with healthy self esteem is hotter than a trim waist on a woman who hates her body and is terrified of what other people think.

Besides, men have much more lenient standards for what is acceptable/attractive in women's bodies than women have for themselves and each other. Thats not to say that we find all women attractive all the time (that'd be a lie), but the standards for what is acceptable and attractive are much broader than women seem to realize. And it is sad to watch so many people with decent personalities and accomplishments obsess over such trivialities.

What I'm trying to say is that the attitude that looks are the most important thing (more important than compassion, charity work, intelligence, kindness, etc), and that the standards of beauty are only obtainable by 5% of women are false because it seems to me that those are common attitudes nowadays. I could lie and say everyone is attractive and nobody is unattractive, but that'd be transparent. What I can say comfortably is that tons of women of all shapes and sizes end up finding mates who are attracted to them, and I don't think most guys will actually hold women to the same draconian standards the hold themselves to. And I can say that after you get to know someone and either become endeared or disgusted by their personality, their attractiveness can either go straight into the toilet or improve dramatically.

But I don't want to come across as saying that appearance means nothing, because it does. What I am trying to say is that it is not the only important thing about a person, and that the standards are looser than people think.

They aren't the very low cut jeans that show too much, these really just sit right below your waist and don't give a muffin-top look. I've found them to be comfortable. I'm a bit chubby and prefer jeans at the waist or just below. I'm also long-waisted and if I wore those jeans cut around the belly button it would look like my pants were falling off.
