On a day when I don't feel as though I've done much that is useful...

But I manage to crank out a poem or two or sometimes even three...

Then, I feel as though I haven't wasted my day.

Maybe because all the other stuff is expected, and normal...

But the poetry is the icing on the cake?

I don't know...

But I've redeemed my day, just now...

I just rested...I'm still not completely over that cold. Last week was very hard. Today was the first day since Saturday I didn't breakdown crying. The month of April has its challenges for me & I guess I wasn't prepared for it.

It's hard to be prepared for challenges...I've had one recently that I thought I'd handle well, and it turned out to be harder than I'd expected...

It's just tonight that I've realized that today was not a complete waste...
