Fish belong to the phylum Chordata and Octopuses belong to the phylum Mollusca. If they were any more distantly related, one of them would be a fern.

Kingdom -> Phylum -> Class -> Order -> Family -> Genus -> Species

6. Kitten - more self reliant and won't disturb the neighbors as much

As a dog I can't train and that lizard. Now, if that had been one our locally grown anoles, I might have gone for the lizard. Anoles are quiet, don't need shots and keep the bugs off the window screens. And they are only about 9" long max, though the ones I see here are about 5-6".
