4. All I know is THANK GOODNESS the tax office on the corner moved their offices
I really wanted to stand outside and tell these crazy people that they shouldn't give up part of their refunds just so they could get their money today. There were online sites where they wouldn't have to pay a dime to do their taxes and there was even an internet cafe at a local bank that would allow you to do your taxes there. There were even non-profit groups that would do taxes for those who had no computer experience. And your taxes usually get sent to you within a week or two.

But these crazies would give up a large chunk of their refund convinced there was some benefit of getting that money today. What a bad scam.

Plus that local scam office - those people were taking up the parking on our street and the people loitering while waiting to get into the office were littering our streets. I think someone complained to our local neighborhood association that this place was essentially a nuisance. They moved into a shopping center where there is plenty of parking.

I work a few blocks from the state capitol, so I'm heading over there after work at 5:00 to do some 'bagging.
