I recieved the nicest gift today. A photo album with at least 50 year old pictures.
Mostly of me as a baby and toddler, and my cousin who was raised with me. (So we are more like sisters)

I must have left those pics behind when I lived with dad in High School. His current wife made and album of them, and sent them to me today. I just opened the package.

Talk about a trip down memory lane!

I really must share these with my cousin/sister. Maybe we can get some scans for online.

Oh, the memories! Some with grandpa too. Boy, did we tease the crap out of him. But we got it honestly, from him! He was such an ornery old fart. We had that old booger wrapped around our little fingers.

:)

1. wow
Hi Neighbor,
50 year old pictures of you? Well that certainly is interesting. Always interesting to look at old pictures. My father has some of my grandfather from when he was in WWI. I need to scan those to get them digitized, so cool. Any ones taken in famous places or places that are still around? Just curious.

Peace

3. No interesting places, except home, and grandpa. He died 30 years ago.
He was such an ornery old fart. But when it came to his two granddaughters, we could do no wrong. Sure, he was ornery. But had a special place in his heart for his little women.

We used to go to the screen door and shoot him through the screen in his favorite sitting chair with squirt guns. Oh boy! He'd scold us!

But would never dream of laying a finger on either one of us. He'd just cook us dinner and we'd cuddle in his lap. Afterall, he was the one who taught us how to be so ornery.

And then there was the time we dug a hole in the back drive and diguised it, so he'd get stuck when he pulled in. He was so pissed! ROTFLOL!

4. That certainly did lift my spirits!
I've written my cousin/sister. Too late to call her. We must get together for laughs with these pics. I know she'd enjoy them too!
