This week's job report

Unfortunately, Ontario isn't going to happen for us:(

PA is still a possibility, in two different places. I'm beginning to have mixed feelings about there, however.

BUT...good news isn't too far off, hopefully. Dh interviewed for more than an hour with HR from a place just outside of Bloomington, IN and it went very well. He's being recommended for two different positions and has interviews with those hiring managers early next week. This company has a much better reputation with their employees and biz practices, plus they will actually pay what he's making now (plus bonuses) AND their cost of living is soooo much cheaper than here in NE FL. We really hadn't thought of going to IN because we knew it was so depressed there w/jobs, but Bloomington is supposed to be a beautiful place. I am sick of FL heat as is everyone else (we've been here nearly 8 years). I miss the four seasons, a real winter and rolling hills of VA.

So although nothing yet, we're still hopeful. For reference sake dh was laid off March 6 and insurance/severence runs out at the end of June. We also know this house needs to go on the market very soon because the average around here is still 90 days.

Positive thoughts and prayers to everyone else who is unemployed or facing it soon.
