4. The oak pollen was horrific today...
...and I had a bunch of yard work to do today.

I lasted about an hour and a half before I had to come in and hold my head in agony. Then I had a wedding gig to play...outdoors, of course.

When I got back, I laid down in the dark with the AC on. My head still hurts, but at least I was able to take some ibuprofin without puking.

2. Sorry, Goddess..... Can you take something for it?
I had one yesterday from being out in the sun and the heat wave. TG for Imitrex.

5. Imitrex?
I've not heard of that. Maybe I'll ask my doctor. I usually take ibuprofin, but sometimes it doesn't work for hours.

7. Imitrex (sumatriptan) has been a life-saver for me.
And it recently came out in generic form. I have been taking it since it came out in 1994.

Maybe your dr. can give you some samples to see if it helps you. It's very expensive if you don't have insurance. And not everyone can take it.

Before it came out, I could take an entire bottle of Tylenol or Excedrin and it wouldn't relieve the migraines. (I also tried a bunch of different prescription meds.) Imitrex gets RID of it in about a half-hour or so. I really would not be able to continue to work without the Imitrex.

Hope you feel better soon.
