Tell us in what state you teach (if you like) and what grades/levels. Also tell us private or public.

Go!

7. Thanks, Bertha. So shines a good deed in a weary world!.
I teach students with special needs in a public high school in Virginia. Most of my students have either specific learning disabilities or "other health impairment" (ADHD). :hi: I'll be thinking of you tomorrow!

13. Well, I don't teach kids......
But I teach at a private college on the side, apart from my "day" job. I love it, have been doing that for the last six years. The money is not great, but I do it because I love it!

17. Teachers are incredible. Every time I help in the classroom or at a school event, I've a new respect
for what they do. It is HARD and TIRING and TRYING. Man, I am so wiped out after a couple hours around energetic kids. I seriously do not know how they hold up and perform so well for months and years.

Every time I go into my daughter's class the teacher has the kids' undivided attention. I don't know how she does it.
