4. Dial Gold
I'll switch to Irish Spring occasionally and Lever 2000 but 8 out of 10 times I buy Dial.

6. I use whichever brand is vegan and on sale.
Usually depends on which store I'm at after I noticed I'm running low.

16. There are vegan soaps that don't use tallow
Most drugstore and supermarket brands of bar soaps contain "Tallow" which is a rendered form of beef or mutton fat, processed from suet. quite disgusting (being a vegetarian myself) :hi:

7. Can't use most scented soaps...
and Ivory dries me out.

Caress is the only mainstream brand I can really use.

8. Dr. Bronner's Soap is the Only way to go!
Edited on Sun Apr-26-09 02:44 PM by AllenVanAllen

The Bronner's peppermint variety is our all time favorite. It is so gentle you can even brush your teeth with this stuff (I wouldn't though!)

9. whatever's cheapest and on sale
bar soap is bar soap, who cares

I see no need to pay extra for pretty labels and fancy schmancy scents.

Since I'm gonna put on lotion after I bathe anyway, I save my $$ to spend on decent body lotion instead.

12. Don't much care as long as it's non-scented.
I can't sleep in a house that has a bar of Irish Spring in it. Years ago I received a sample bar in the mail. I ended up getting up at 2am and throwing it outside.

14. Oh gods.
For bathroom handwashing: right now we're using some little soap we got from the Hyatt hotel in Arlington, VA. It smells nice. :)

For bathtime, we use Caress Body Wash--the original peachy-colored stuff. LyricKid has a bar of Irish Spring because he doesn't like smelling "girly."

Shampoo: Pantene for Curly Hair. Matching conditioner. LyricKid uses Pert Plus.

Laundry: Tide with Febreze

Dishes: Dawn Ultra-Concentrated

22. Dial
I also use Suave body wash and Equate Baby Bath for my baths. I mix a bunch of stuff together and drift away. But for showers, I use Dial Gold and/or Dial White. I like them both.

And the St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter body lotion is the most awesome ever!
