I just saw a commercial for Texas and its slogan was: "Texas, It's like a whole other country."

7. HopeHoops, have you ever been to Texas?
If you have, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience here.

If you have not, STFU!

What great state do you live in so we can make fun of the idiots that live there?

3. Yeah, I thought the slogan was cute until Perry screwed it all up
Taking a road trip out of Texas always makes me think of that slogan. Where ever I'm going, I always feel I'm half way there the moment I finally cross the state border.

I hope you like living here. For all our faults, I do think most Texans are great people and would gladly give you the shirt off their back if you needed it.

6. Yay! Another Democrat moving to Texas!
Believe me, you are needed and appreciated here. So, what part of Dallas are you moving to? Would you like to volunteer, or be a precinct chair? We have lots of candidates you can get involved with! Welcome to the 'hood!
