No surprise to anyone who knows me. Nathan Fillion is a wonderful lead, and Rob Bowman and Bill Roe make the show look sharp, but it's a very conventional and uncompelling light mystery series.

Nonetheless, I hope it gets picked up for another season, because it brings great comfort to my aged mother.

2. Can you describe this show for people who don't watch tv?
What would I see if I turned on the television? Why is it worth turning on the television? :)

It's about a bored mystery writer who scams his way into shadowing an NYPD homicide detective on the pretext of doing research, and how he proves his worth as an amateur sleuth. He's cute, he's got a cute mother, he's got a cute kid, the detective he bickers with is cute, it's all cute.

4. I haven't seen it yet...
but I'm a huge Nathan Fillion fan. I'll give it a watch when I can, though.
